Welcome from the President of Schreiner University

We are happy to encourage those of you visiting the Greystone website also to visit that of Schreiner University. Schreiner and Greystone are beginning something noteworthy, and we encourage you to consider carefully the possibility of your being part of that enterprise.

In 2002, we were fortunate to speak for the first time with Commander Bailey, who had a wonderful concept that needed a place to welcome and nurture it. The more we at Schreiner learned of the Greystone concept, the more convinced we were that it would flourish in the Hill Country of Texas.

It has been a challenging process for us all to give that dream substance, but now we are excited about teaming up with Greystone to offer this year on our campus a high quality, college-credit program of study for students with the goal of acceptance into one of our nation's service academies.

Greystone's values and those of Schreiner tally because both are grounded in fostering achievement and in relating individually and holistically with all of our students. If you find those values meaningful, then please give your consideration to this unique program.
